About Us
The Motel
The Remer Motel has been around since the 1940's centrally located within minutes of Leech Lake and the Grand Rapids Lakes area! We purchased the Motel / Campground in late 2016 and have since remodeled the rooms, lobby, hot tub and sauna, we have also constructed a 114 acre campground keeping mother nature in mind while respecting the Chippewa National forest and its beauty. We have also constructed a seasonal fish cleaning area for those Leech Lake walleye and all the lakes in between! We are centrally located to some of Minnesotas best lakes including, Woman Lake, Pokegama Lake, Boy Lake, Thunder Lake, Roosevelt Lake, Long Lake, as well as the mighty Mississippi River along with some of Minnesotas best lakes in between! We also have a game hanging rack to hang that trophy deer or bear! We do offer limited pet friendly rooms as well, ask the front desk when calling if you're needing this option.

We are located right on the Soo-Line North Trail for easy access to thousands of miles of Snowmobile and ATV/ UTV trails, including some popular connections to Grand Rapids, Hill City, Emily, Outing, Walker, Longville, Boy River, Federal Dam and so much more!
Located in town, we are within walking distance to local pubs and restaurants alike! Come and enjoy the countless lakes and rivers surrounding us for great spring, summer, fall and winter activities. We are bordered by 1.6 million acres of Chippewa National Forest offering some of Minnesota's best big and small game hunting, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, snowmobiling, atving and fishing found anywhere in the country.
The Motel Campground
We have 8 RV sites at the motel in total. 6 of those RV sites have Water, Sewer, along with 50/30/20 amp electric hook ups. 2 primitive sites offering 1 with water and 1 with water and sewer.
We also have a separate RV dump station in the back if you choose not to hook up during your stay.
Amenities include a Shower House, Free Wifi, Ice Machine, Video Game, Fish Cleaning Area, Sauna, Hot Tub, Fire Pits and so much more. We are confident you will enjoy your stay!

The Campground
Come enjoy Remer Motel and Campground located in Minnesota's great northwoods in Remer Minnesota also known as "The Home of Bigfoot!" Come and enjoy all the outdoor recreation this area has to offer! Our new Campground / RV Park consists of 114 acres. We offer 50/30/20 amp electrical hook ups as well as water hook ups along with the use of the RV Dump at the Motel for when you depart. We also offer many primitive sites for those who are self-contained and prefer larger group camping.
This Campground is located within a half mile from town. You will still be within range of the motel and its amenities, but also secluded enough to enjoy the full-blown outdoor camping experience! We are offering very spacious sites including multi use trails and picnic areas throughout the entire property. Enjoy the beautiful open fields and rolling hills and let your pets get that much needed exercise or take that evening walk and enjoy a northern Minnesota sunset up at the Pavilion. It's completely up to you! You will be hard pressed to find any campground offering this much beauty and room to roam in what we consider Gods Country.
We also host Weddings, Private Parties, Family Reunions, Charity Events, you name it! Feel free to call for any questions you may have.
Camping pricing is $64.99 per night Thursday - Saturday
$45.99 Sunday - Wednesday based on 4 people (All ages).
$10.00 / person after 4. Primitive pricing is $42.99 Thursday - Saturday, $35.99 Sunday - Wednesday.
1 RV , Truck or trailer per site. Overflow parking available with a $10.00 / day charge.
